This takes the form of sports tournaments in football, volleyball, basketball or table tennis, held on the site's multi-sport courts. Team spirit and fair play are the central values conveyed by supervisors during these team games.

But the sporting offer doesn't stop there. Depending on the location of the site, more original sporting activities are offered. It is not uncommon to see partnerships for horse riding with a nearby pony club, or introductory sessions in pedal karting within the secured paths of the campsite.

Today it is almost impossible to separate a large campsite from its swimming area. The vast majority of upmarket establishments offer a spectacular water park. The magic of a stay is often created by the major events organised by the animation team. The fun world unfolds through giant treasure hunts that mobilise the entire site, transforming the campsite into a vast pirate adventure ground or space exploration terrain. These immersive activities capture children's imaginations and keep them on the edge of their seats for hours.

The highlight of the show generally takes place at the end of the week. The preparation of mini-shows is a key stage. The children present choreographies, theatre sketches or circus acts that they have rehearsed diligently. This moment, when they take to the stage in front of their moved parents, is priceless.

If you are convinced, the next step is to book wisely. When you go on holiday, particularly during peak season such as July-August, planning ahead is essential. Establishments offering superb youth facilities are snapped up months in advance. Make sure the club is open during the dates of your stay (some clubs only operate during the summer school holidays).

Also check the accepted age groups. Most clubs welcome children aged 4 to 12, but some offer nurseries for the youngest or clubs dedicated to pre-teens. Generally, clubs welcome children from the age of 4, provided they are toilet-trained (no nappies). For the youngest ones (under 4), some very high-end establishments offer "baby clubs" or specific nurseries, often with a price supplement and mandatory advance booking.

Absolutely not. Enrolment at the campsite children's club is done à la carte (half-day, full day, or for a specific activity). That is the absolute flexibility of summer holidays! Your child goes whenever they feel like it, based on the programme of activities on offer posted each week.

To avoid frustrating anyone, the teams of qualified activity leaders are often multilingual (French, English, Dutch, German) in order to facilitate the integration of all children during sports games and treasure hunts.

While the passionate activity leaders look after the children during specific aquatic club activities, the general supervision of the water park and water slides is provided by qualified lifeguards (BNSSA or equivalent), ensuring the complete safety of swimmers during opening hours.

Unexpected weather is anticipated. If outdoor games are impossible, the teams bring the groups together in large covered animation rooms. The programme then switches to indoor fun activities: preparing mini-shows, giant board games, cinema, or creative workshops, ensuring guaranteed laughter even on grey days.
